“Reconnect with yourself” is the second half of what the world would call our tagline, and we would call our mantra. We think that phrase deserves some deep reading, so allow us to explain what we mean.
So much of life requires us to put all of ourselves into someone or something else. Our time and energy are literally and metaphorically spent managing day-to-day tasks, relationships, and daily stresses of life. Our gadgets demand our attention almost constantly and have us trained to go to them should we ever find ourselves with spare time and attention.
Being pulled in so many directions, being demanded by so many people is unsustainable and exhausting. It can feel like stopping is impossible, so we keep the plates spinning, the balls in the air, the wheels turning no matter what. We become depleted and, in some cases, can even feel like we have lost our identity in all the things we pour ourselves into.
When there’s so much noise, we cannot hear our own voice. When there’s no time, we are not able to reflect and look inward to ourselves. When there’s only distraction, we can’t focus. We lose the ability to be quiet.
To be still.
To be
To breathe.
Just breathe.
Reconnecting with yourself is not optional. It’s critical. Take the time for a massage, energy work, foot detox, liquid sound therapy, or any other service that removes the noise from your attention so it can finally be on who truly matters: you.
In the quiet, your body can reconnect with your mind. You can check in with yourself to see, really, how are you, and remind your nervous system, you’re safe.
That’s what we mean when we welcome you to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself as you enter Na Holistic Wellness Center.
